Round Timers:

A Round Timer of 3hrs, is allocated to each game. The use of a Chess Clock is encouraged to assist in keeping to this time. Once this Round Timer expires, the Tournament Organiser will call for Dice Down. No more dice rolls are permitted past this time. Players must calculate their total score as at the end of the current or previous battle round (up to the players agreement). The Tournament Organiser may be called to make this decision for the players, if an agreement cannot be made.

List Submission:

A legal 2000pt army list must be uploaded to the BCP registration site before Saturday, 31th October 11:59pm. Each Faction can only be taken once per army, including Army of Renown (IronJaws + Kruleboyz is OK), but armies can be from the same Grand Alliance (Destruction + Destruction). A list may not contain any Warscroll nor Battle Tactics being taken in another list, including Manifestations. A list must include all references to Faction, Battle Formation, Regiments, Auxiliaries, Units, Heroic Traits, Artefacts, Spell/Prayer/Manifestation Lore and Faction Terrain taken during list submission. Any details missing from the list after this date may not be considered during play.

Lists should be uploaded in an easy-to-read format (AOS app preferred). Please take all care and attention to ensure your list does not contain unnecessary formatting.

Lists should adhere to the most current Battle Profiles and Rules Updates document. If an updated Battle Profiles and Rules Updates document is released post-list submission, and before the event, it will be excluded from the event. Lists will remain points legal as at the list submission date.

Failure to submit your list before the deadline will result in a point penalty, which will be applied against your Teams total score.

Pairings:
Teams will be competitively paired in all battle rounds. This ensures that the players will be best matched according to their performance during games against similar scoring opponents.

The Process:
Meet & Greet: Arrive at the table, meet each other and swap army lists.
Defender Phase: Both Teams Captains secretly pick one player (a "Defender") and reveal them simultaneously.
Attacker Phase: Both Team Captains secretly select two players (the "Attackers") they want to send against the opponent's defender and reveal them simultaneously.
Pairing Assignment: Both Team Captains decide which of the two incoming Attackers they will accept into their Defender. The unchosen Attacker returns to the opposing teams hand. The Defending player gets to choose the mission to be played.
The "Scrum" (Last Match): The final matchup is forced from the last remaining lists in hand, making the early rounds of pairing critical. The Scrum match must be played on the first mission selection (Rd1 TBA, Rd2 TBA, Rd3 TBA).

Scoring:

Primary Scoring will be Win/Draw/Loss. This scoring method ensures that competitive pairings remain fair within your WDL bracket.

Secondary Scoring will be VP Total. Meaning emphasis is placed on scoring the maximum amount of Victory Points in every game, so that your team can finish higher on the ladder.

Painting:

Your army is expected to be fully assembled, on the correct size bases and painted to at least a Battle-Ready standard. Models not meeting this minimum standard may be removed from the table.

Best Painted and Best Team Hobby Awards:

The Best Painted awards are open for all players to enter. Simply display your army and your name during lunch on to enter. This award will be judged by the Tournament Organiser.

MATHHAMMER is committed to providing high-quality premiere events, that are welcoming to all players. Any player displaying any aggressive conduct, harassment (either in person or outside the event), any forms of discrimination or offensive speech (sexism, racism, ableism, etc), or drunk and disorderly conduct, will be asked to leave, with no refund given. If the behaviour is serious enough, players will be prevented from attending future events, as well as future events for that game system possibly discontinued.

Terrain:

Terrain will be available on each table and should be setup according to the recommended terrain layout before each battleplan. Both players should work together to setup the table terrain and objective markers (also supplied) before rolling off for Attacker/Defender. Please discuss with your opponent before the game start how terrain will be treated (Impassible, Line of Sight).
